In addition to training for cars and trucks, we also offer training for all 2 wheel classes. This includes the classes:
- AM — moped, max. 50cc, max. 45 km/h Minimum age: 16 years
- A1 — light motorcycle, max. 125 ccm, max. 15 hp Minimum age: 16 years
- A2 — motorcycle with max. 48 hp Minimum age: 18 years
- A — No limit. Minimum age: 20 years with 2 years of previous ownership of class A2, otherwise 24 years
It is also possible to move up to the next higher driving license class after 2 years of previous possession of class A1 or A2.
The special feature is that you do not have to take any theoretical training, no theoretical examination, and no special practical trips.
However, it is recommended to take a few driving lessons on our driving school motorcycle and use it to practice the basic driving tasks that are mandatory in the practical test.
Protective clothing during motorcycle testing
The following clothing is mandatory for driving lessons:
- Motorcycle helmet (no open-face helmets)
- Motorcycle jacket (with back protector)
- Motorcycle pants (with protectors)
- Motorcycle boots (ankle-high)
- Motorcycle gloves (not regular gloves like winter gloves)
The helmet and clothing should fit well. It's important that the gloves allow you to have a good feel when gripping. Safety is our top priority! Therefore, we ask that you bring complete protective gear with you.
In addition, every student will receive a voucher for Louis Motorrad from us to make purchasing the proper protective gear more affordable.
Motorcycle-to-motorcycle training
A special feature that is not offered in every driving school is motorcycle to motorcycle training. We have the latest Bluetooth radios with which we can maintain contact with the learner driver. We try to accompany our learner driver with the motorcycle during every driving lesson so that we can provide particularly practical training. In particular, driving around corners, which is done in a completely different way with a motorcycle than with a car, is very well demonstrated with this form of training.
The cheap prices
The prices vary greatly depending on the training. It is cheapest if you already have class A1 or A2, as only a few driving lessons and the practical test are required to obtain the next higher driving license.
Prices rise if you have to go through complete training. Class AM is the cheapest there, as no special trips are required there. The situation is different for classes A1, A2 and A. The scope of training there is almost the same, which is why the prices there are higher than the AM class or the advanced training courses.
